TEFLIN International Conference

The TEFLIN International Conference is a conference organized by the reputable and professional organization TEFLIN (The Teaching of English as a Foreign Language in Indonesia) Association. TEFLIN is the association for English teachers in Indonesia and is a professional organization run by volunteer members consisting of institutions and individuals that focus on Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in Indonesia. This association holds annual international conferences, as well as several national events conducted by regional coordinators in provinces across Indonesia. The TEFLIN International Conference is an academic event to connect professionals and stakeholders in the field of teaching English. English Education International Conference

English Education International Conference (EEIC) is a forum of scientific discussion on education, teaching, learning, languages, general linguistics, and general literature. The conference is organized by the Department of English Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Syiah Kuala. This conference was initiated through a collaboration with The Consortium of Asia-Pacific Education Universities (CAPEU), which was conducted in 2016. In 2018 IIEC collaborated with Universitas Syiah Kuala Annual International Conference to conduct the second conference. The post conference activities include workshop on article revisions for presenters whose papers were selected for Scopus-indexed journals.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

We cordially invite you to participate in the 69th TEFLIN International Conference in conjunction with the 3rd English Education International Conference which will be held in Gedung AAC Dayan Dawood (Academic Activity Center), Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, Indonesia on 22 - 24 September 2023.
The conference will invite keynote speakers, plenary speakers, featured speakers, and parallel presenters, with the following topics:

Presenter Registration

You may also register to participate in the conference without presenting any academic paper. We do not allow a walk-in registration, so you must register in advance. The registration for participants will close on 31 July 2023. Please note that we do not accept registration after this date because we need enough time to prepare the conference kits and consumption. As a part of this conference, we are offering a workshop on paper revision for language clarity and academic style. You must have a full paper ready for this workshop. The workshop will be conducted on 21 September 2023 at 9.00 WIB (Group A) and 14.00 WIB (Group B). Each group will have a three hour-workshop. Registration is closed on 19 September 2023 or when the registered participants reach 60.

Transportation

Transportation from Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport to your hotel can be arranged with the Airport taxi. It takes about 30 - 45 minutes to the nearest hotels that we recommend in this website. Bus (Transkutaraja) is also available, and it can be found outside the airport building on the left side of the exit gate. The bus will take you to the city center where you can take another bus to Universitas Syiah Kuala in Darussalam. Transkutaraja is a good choice if you decide to stay in the city center. There are many hotels that you can search in the city center such as Kyriad Muraya Hotel, Ahmad Yani Hotel, Mekkah Hotel, Madinah Hotel, etc. It takes about 30-40 minutes from the city center to the conference venue in Darussalam using a Grab car or GoJek, for instance. To get back to the airport after the conference, you can take the bus, a Grab car, or GoJek. Feel free to contact the conference contact person when you need an advice about the transportation.

How do I register to present in the conference?

In the registration section above, click the orange button which says PRESENTER REGISTRATION , PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION , or WORKSHOP REGISTRATION in the registration section. For a presenter, you will need to complete the registration form before submitting your abstract.

Can my co-authors get a presenter certificate?

A presenter certificate is only given to the author who presents in the conference. The presenter can be a primary author or a co-author. The co-author (or primary author) who does not present will be given a participant certificate if they register as a participant, pay the participant fee, and attend the conference. Please inform us in advance if you need to change the presenter, so we can change the name in the presenter certificate.

How do I submit my abstract?

Firstly you need to register on registration section. After completing registration, you may submit your abstract in Conference Submission website https://conference.usk.ac.id/TEFLIN-EEIC/2023. The guidelines for Abtract Submission can be downloaded here.

Can I submit my abstract through email or personal message?

Unfortunately no. Abstract submission can only be accepted through Conference Submission website https://conference.usk.ac.id/TEFLIN-EEIC/2023.

Will there be more extensions for abstract submission?

We almost have more than enough submissions, so we are not sure whether we will extend the abstract submission deadline. To be safe, please assume that there is no more extension after the current extension.

I have revised my abstract based on the reviewer's recommendation, how do I submit it?

If you have indicated to submit a full paper, please submit your revised abstract with your full paper. If you do not intend to submit a full paper, please submit your revised abstract as your full paper.

Can I present the result of my literature review

Yes. You may present the result of traditional literature review, systematic literature review, and meta analysis

I'm not a TEFLIN member. Can I register as a presenter in the upcoming TEFLIN Conference?

Absolutely yes. Non members are welcome to register as a presenter.
